SEOUL, Feb. 11 (Korea Bizwire) – Sukhumbhand Paribatra, the governor of Bangkok, and his delegation visited operation rooms and stations for Korea’s first monorail in Daegu on February 9.
The governor has chosen to benchmark Daegu’s monorail system, line no. 3, in order to develop 10 lines of various types of trains including monorail trains and AGT (Automatic Guided Transit) in Bangkok.
After visiting a control center and taking a ride on the monorail, Paribatra delivered a message of content. An Yong-Mo, chief of the urban railway office of the Daegu Metropolitan City, said that Daegu will give its best effort to provide technical support to Bangkok’s railway development, if given the chance.
