SEJONG, Nov. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — The number of outdoor restaurants in South Korea where patrons can enjoy meals and beverages on outdoor terraces is expected to increase significantly.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance said Wednesday that it discussed ways to improve related regulations aimed at the second half of next year.
Until now, outdoor operations have only been possible in designated places such as special tourist zones and hotels.
In the future, however, outdoor restaurants will be permitted everywhere in principle if there are no problems with complaints such as noise or hygiene.
