SEOUL, July 269 (Korea Bizwire) – Seoul International Harmonica Festival, one of the largest harmonica festivals in Korea, will kick off on July 31 for a three-day event at Seoul Plaza. Organized by the Seoul Harmonica Education Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Seoul Metropolitan Government, the festival will feature harmonica competitions, a gala concert with world famous harmonica players, exhibitions, clinics and a seminar.
As a special opening event, the organizing association will gather an ensemble of more than 1,000 harmonica players performing “Our Hope” and “Spring in My Hometown” on July 31. An official from the association said, “As our wish for reunification and commemoration of the 70th anniversary of independence, we will challenge the performance of recording number of players joining together.”
