SEOUL, April 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Engineering Co. said Thursday it has won a 290 billion won (US$272 million) order to build a petrochemical plant in Thailand.
The South Korean company said its President Sung Sang-rok and his counterpart at Bangchak Corporation Public Company Ltd., Chaiwat Kovavisarach, signed the deal in the Thai capital on Wednesday.
The company didn’t provide the timeframe for the plant’s completion, citing the deal is a confidentiality pact.
