Hyundai, Kia Vehicles Win U.S. Design Awards

SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Korea Bizwire) South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group said Wednesday it had won good design awards for 2022 in the U.S.

In the transportation category, Hyundai Motor Co.’s Trailer Drone and SEVEN concept SUV won 2022 Good Design Awards.

In the robotics design category, the company’s PnD (Plug & Drive) mobility L7 and MobED won awards.

In particular, in the robotics design category where only eight models were awarded, the group clinched three awards, proving its design excellence in this category.

Kia Corp. won awards for its Niro SUV, EV9 concept, Magenta design infotainment system and EV infotainment system in the transportation design category.

For Genesis, the G90 sedan and ccIC (connected car Integrated Cockpit) infotainment system won awards in the transportation design category.

The luxury brand of Hyundai Motor has won awards for eight straight years since it was launched in 2015.
