SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Korea Bizwire) – The Palisade sport utility vehicle (SUV) of Hyundai Motor Co. has been recognized by leading automotive reporters in the United States and Canada as one of the best SUVs on the market, the South Korean automaker said Thursday.

The Palisade was among the recipients of the 2026 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year award given by the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) jury.

Other models included the Dodge Charger and the Ford Maverick Lobo.

Decided by a panel of 50 journalists across North America, the NACTOY awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious honors in the global automotive industry.

The jury cited Palisade’s spacious interior, driving performance and advanced technology for the recognition, saying that it “defines the family vehicle for the 21st century.”

“Palisade represents everything we strive to deliver at Hyundai — beautiful design, advanced technology, exceptional safety and real value for families,” Hyundai Motor Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jose Munoz said.
