JEONJU, July 28 (Korea Bizwire) — The Jeonju city government in North Jeolla Province plans to install 2,500 water bags for street trees and other trees in parks and green spaces.
This move is a part of efforts to help the growth of trees that are suffering from prolonged heatwaves and droughts.
The city government also plans to mobilize six to eight watering vehicles to keep supplying water to street trees.
It will also provide nutritional supplements for trees that are withering due to the hot weather.
