SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – The launch event for KG Mobility’s Torres took place in the Giza district of Cairo on Monday, against the iconic backdrop of the pyramids. The gathering drew over 500 attendees, comprising local media, influencers, and dealers.

Ahmed Abou Khouf, chairman of Arabiat Egypt, a local dealer, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “the Torres boasts a robust design reminiscent of an authentic SUV, exceptional performance, and an affordable price. Given its positive reception in South Korea and other global markets, we anticipate a strong market response in Egypt.”

Abou Khouf outlined the post-launch plans, saying, “Following this test drive event, we plan to conduct customer test drives for approximately one to two weeks. Subsequently, we will kick off full-scale sales and commence customer deliveries in December.”

KG Mobility is actively pushing the global launch of new products, with Chairman Kwak Jae-sun personally participating in the Torres European market launch event in July. During this event, discussions with agents centered around strategies for expanding sales and bolstering competitiveness on the global stage.

Additionally, KG Mobility organized a test drive event for the Torres at a conference attended by agents from 13 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and the CIS region in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to fortify its position in the export market.

An official from KG Mobility expressed confidence in the African market, stating, “The Torres launch event in Egypt has instilled confidence in our ability to succeed in the African market. We are committed to augmenting sales volume in Africa through proactive global marketing strategies and enhanced brand awareness, beginning with Egypt.”

Simultaneously, KG Mobility is actively extending its reach in emerging markets. Last week, discussions were held with Kim Long Motors Huế, an automotive subsidiary of Vietnam’s FUTA Group, exploring avenues for collaboration to enter the Vietnamese market.
