NAJU, May 20 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea Rural Community Corp., South Korea’s state-run agricultural company, has developed a smart water management app that enables users to manage a variety of water facilities, including reservoirs, through a mobile device.
The app enables users to check a variety of information, including the location and water level of reservoirs, as well as a wide range of facility information, including drainage.
In addition, it also allows users to register the results of inspections on the operating and maintenance status of the facilities regardless of time or location.
After establishing a standardized work manual through the reorganization of the maintenance manual last year, the company developed the new app, which includes a variety of information needed in the field.
In particular, the app’s function of allowing users to check facility manuals and register inspection results is expected to contribute to creating a safer farming environment and to strengthening service for farmers.
When users log into the app, they can check the current state of their assigned areas and the inspection history. It’s also possible to register the process and results of the inspection on the spot.
The results of the registration can be checked not only at branches but also headquarters and regional headquarters through an internal work system.
