SEOUL, March 14 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korean cultural center in Berlin, Germany has opened an online website that teaches Germans about gukak or Korean traditional music.
In joint collaboration with Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, the website was opened in the German language, offering an introduction to traditional Korean music.
The website, available both on PC and mobile devices, provides information about traditional Korean dance and musical instruments, offering demonstration videos, music scores, instructor’s manuals and other content.
Anyone can visit the website to look up content for self-learning.
Anyone who wishes to learn about Korean traditional percussion music “samulnori” can access information on the musical instruments, music scores and instructions on how to play them.
