SEOUL, Aug. 26 (Korea Bizwire) “Jump,” a South Korean non-verbal performance that has captivated millions of viewers around the world, will travel to China later this year for a one-month run, the show’s officials said Wednesday.

“Jump,” a comedy that tells the story of a martial arts family through only taekwondo, tekken and acrobatic performances, will open at the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai on Dec. 16 and stay until Jan. 15, said Show & Arts, which manages the show’s overseas business.

Since its opening in 2003, “Jump” has traveled to more than 80 cities and drawn some 5 million people. At the Myungbo Art Hall in Seoul, where the show is exclusively shown in South Korea, it has attracted more than 150,000 tourists per year, according to the company.

The Shanghai shows were organized following an invitation from Xiang Jian Huan, a subsidiary of Songcheng Performance Development, a Chinese group principally engaged in theme parks and tourism.

Previously, “Jump” was invited to perform for China’s largest entertainment firm Shanghai Media Group in November. From March to June this year, it toured around China in 33 cities.
