SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — KT Corp., South Korea’s telecommunications giant, announced Thursday the introduction of a new artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics-based digital service for all 190 guest rooms at Daegu Marriott Hotel.
KT AI Hotel is a contact-free service that allows hotel guests to control the lights, home appliances, music, and hail hotel robots for concierge service simply by asking Giga Genie, an AI speaker.
AI Hotel Robot delivers towels, bottled water, and other necessities based on the requests made by hotel guests.
KT AI Hotel has previously been introduced at hotel giants like Accor and Hyatt Hotels Corp., covering a total of 35 hotels and 7,200 guest rooms as of this month.
