SEOUL, Jan. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. is expanding its presence in the foreign indoor golf market by leveraging its premium commercial-use laser projector, the ProBeam.
The company announced that it will take part in the PGA Show 2023 being held in Orlando, Florida for four days starting on Tuesday.
LG will showcase customized indoor golf solutions at the annual global golf industry meetup in collaboration with local screen golf simulator producer K GOLF Inc.
The LG ProBeam Laser 4K projector enables the creation of a highly immersive indoor golf experience, allowing spectators to enjoy a realistic round of golf with stunning 4K resolution visuals.
In the exhibition pavilion designed to resemble the interior of a luxury home, a home cinema experience can be enjoyed through the LG ProBeam’s ultra-large screen.
“In foreign countries where many people live in detached houses, indoor golf spaces are often set up within residential homes. With these consumers in mind, the size of the related market is expected to grow further,” LG said.
According to the United States Golf Association, the country’s golfing population was estimated at about 37.5 million in 2021, of which more than one-third enjoy golf through screen golf or indoor golf practice facilities.
