Seoul, Korea, August 16 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics is holding a ‘G2 Street Trend Festa’ for 11 days from August 8 to 18 to celebrate the release of the new ‘LG G2’ smartphone on Garosu Road in Apgujeong, the fashion central of Seoul’s Gangnam.
In collaboration with more than 30 popular restaurants, fashion boutiques, and beauty salons on this trendy street, LG Electronics will offer various events such as prize giveaways and discount opportunities. This past weekend, a variety of cultural events such as a concert, fashion show, charity auction, singing contest, film screening, and a speech on healing were also held.
LG Electronics has also opened the limited-time ‘LG G2’ store in cooperation with the coffee shop Coco Bruni which will be open until early September. Here, owners of more than 20 stores on Garosu Road representing various fields such as tech ventures, galleries, and restaurants will be giving special lectures. There will also be a mini bus to offer customers more opportunities to experience the new LG G2.
Ma Chang-min, director of the MC Korea Marketing division at LG Electronics, said, “We prepared this event based on the idea that both the LG G2 and Garosu Road are both trendsetters. We will continue the early popularity of the LG G2 by holding unique events that offer a special experience to our customers.”
