LG Sells 12,000 Tromm Stylers over 100 Days

SEOUL, Apr. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics’ new Tromm Styler, an ingenious, next-generation washing machine, had accumulated sales of 12,000 units 100 days after its launch, according to a company statement on April 14. The figure marks a 500 percent increase over sales of the previous model.

The Tromm Styler, which sanitizes and removes wrinkles from clothes with its moving hanger and steam cleaning has been enhanced with new features, and takes up 30 percent less space than the old model. Recent concerns about air quality in Korea have also affected sales of the new machine, which removes 99.9 percent of dust and germs.
