The LG G4 Beat, which will come with a 5.2-inch display, is slightly smaller than the original G4 that has a 5.5-inch screen, but will maintain the overall curved look that compares to other rival flagships from Samsung Electronics Co. and Apple Inc.’
While the price will vary depending on the countries, industry sources said the price tag will be around US$300, significantly lower than the high-end G4 which costs more than $750.
The G4 Beat will come with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras in back and front, along with a detachable 2,300 mAh battery. Key LG smartphone features like “Gesture Shot Interval,” which allows users to take photos by curling one’s fingers into their palm while facing the camera, will also be available.
The smartphone will come in three colors, white, gold and silver. It will not, however, have leather case like the original G4.
