SEOUL, Nov. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – British sports car manufacturer Lotus announced through its South Korean subsidiary, Lotus Cars Korea, on November 27 that it is launching its electric SUV, the Eletre, in the domestic market.
According to Lotus Korea, the Eletre offers exceptional value compared to competitors in its class, with a price tag approximately 30 million won lower than its higher-trim sibling, the Eletre S.
The Eletre shares the same powerful drivetrain as the Eletre S, featuring dual motors that generate 612 horsepower. The vehicle comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) and air suspension systems.
Equipped with a 112kWh lithium-ion battery, the Eletre has achieved a certified driving range of 463km per charge, according to the Ministry of Environment’s standards.
The vehicle’s advanced features include matrix LED headlamps that work in conjunction with front cameras to detect oncoming vehicles or those ahead, selectively dimming specific LED segments to prevent glare.
Inside the cabin, drivers will find a 15.1-inch OLED display and modern infotainment features including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Lotus Korea is also introducing a “My Eletre” customization program, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles with options such as an active rear spoiler, 22-inch wheels, and carbon fiber packages.
