SEOUL, Mar. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — Three individuals in Daegu suspected of distributing leaflets denouncing President Park Geun-Hye admitted that they sent a bag of dog food to the Daegu Suseong Police Station, which had earlier summoned them for questioning regarding the leaflets, according to an online post written by one of the three on March 4.

The three individuals, including the online poster who is known by his surname Park, distributed leaflets in front of the Saenuri Party’s Daegu office in Suseong District on February 16. After getting complaints from a parking manager at the building, the three picked up a number of the leaflets and left the scene.

Following the summons regarding the allegation of defamation through published materials, Park posted a picture and text on his online community page, saying that the allegations are unjustified since a leaflet of under seven pages is not considered to be a ‘published material’ according to precedents from the Supreme Court of Korea.

Park is also said to have sent a bag of dog food to the police, posting a picture in which a man holds a bag of dog food in one hand and a sign in the other that says “You police people, who see mere leaflets as published materials, eat this dog food and continue wagging your tails for Park Geun-Hye!”
