SEOUL, Aug. 12 (Korea Bizwire) – Supplements to improve smoking behavior will be designated and administrated as sanitary aids even though they do not contain nicotine.
The supplements only have fragrances added instead of nicotine, and are used as a thinner for concentrated nicotine used in vape pens.
In addition, products used for oral hygiene management like retainer washers or dental plaque dye will also be administrated as sanitary aids.
From October 2016, smoking supplements without nicotine and dental plaque dye can only be sold after being authorized as sanitary aids according to the standards of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
