SEOUL, May 5 (Korea Bizwire) — An experiential chamber has been set up in Manhattan, New York in which visitors can try out Korean culture in a virtual reality environment.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency on Tuesday (local time) held an opening ceremony for the “KOREA: Cubically Imagined” experiential chamber in Manhattan.
The exhibition showcases some 16 types of experiential content that combine the Korean Wave with cultural heritage and media art.
At the “BTS Map of the Soul ON:E” online concert, visitors will be able to enjoy the live experience of being in a real concert, surrounded by LED screens.
Pre-registration for the New York exhibit, open until May 14, sold out 30 minutes after tickets went on sale.
The next exhibit will take place in Washington from May 27-June 9.
