North Korea Missile Launch Appears to Have Failed

SEOUL, May 31 (Korea Bizwire) – The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staffs revealed that a North Korean missile launch, which is assumed to have taken place at 05:20 local time, has failed.

The launch presumably took place in the Wonsan area. Wonsan is a port city and naval base located on the eastern side of the Korean Peninsula.

The JCS believes that the launched missile was North Korea’s medium-range ballistic missile, Musudan.
