SEOUL, Mar. 5 (Korea Bizwire)As the trend of staying in a foreign city for a month to seek relaxation and experience the local life has spread, demand for ‘one month’ trips abroad has soared.

When Interpark Tour analyzed customer data for those who stayed in foreign cities for 29 to 31 days last year, it turned out that the number of tickets increased by 198 percent compared to 2016.

As Interpark Tour puts it, in the past, people preferred to travel to as many cities as possible and visit the most popular tourist attractions.

However, nowadays most enjoy staying at one place for a month to experience the life of locals and get plenty of rest.

Bangkok was the most popular city of the year for those going on ‘one month’ overseas trips due to the sharply increasing demand since last year.

Due to its low prices, Bangkok has a reputation for offering great accommodation and for having plenty of things to see and enjoy.

With its safe public order, it is considered a suitable destination for those who travel alone or want to travel for a month.

Following Bangkok, Manila in the Philippines, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Clark in the Philippines, and Hanoi in Vietnam ranked second to fifth.

People preferred to visit Southeast Asia, where prices are low, so that they could stay for a long time at a clean and beautiful vacation spot with nature.
