Quantum Korea 2023 Showcases Cutting-Edge Quantum Technologies

SEOUL, June 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Quantum Korea 2023, the largest international event on quantum technology in Korea, took place at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). Companies and research institutes exhibited their quantum advancements, including IonQ’s ion-trap quantum computer, the IonQ Forte. IBM unveiled a 433-qubit superconducting chip and introduced a quantum ecosystem project.

Major Korean telecom companies showcased quantum technologies, while research organizations presented innovations like a 50-qubit quantum computer model. SK Telecom showcased the Galaxy Quantum phone and an encryption chip that applies quantum technology to enhance security.
