SEOUL, Dec. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — “Raemian,” the brand for Samsung C&T‘s apartments, was ranked No. 1 for 15 consecutive years in the apartment brand category by BrandStock. According to the brand evaluation company on December 10, Raemian of Samsung C&T took the position in the apartment category by winning 829.7 points out of 1,000 in the 2014 BrandStock Top Index.
Since 2000 when the company began announcing the index, Raemian has maintained the top spot for 15 years in a row. Of the top-100 brands released by BrandStock this year, Raemian is the only brand among apartments.
In the collective residential building category, runners-up included “Prugio” of Daewoo Engineering & Construction with the score of 816.6 points, followed by “e-Pyunhan Sesang” by Daelim Industrial (806.3 points), “Xi” by GS Construction (796.3) and “Lotte Castle” by Lotte Engineering & Construction (788.9).
Prugio, ranked fifth last year, was the only residential building brand that gained by one notch this year. Lotte Castle was demoted to the fifth this year by losing more than 30 points from the second last year.
A BrandStock official explained, “Our BrandStock Top Index is a sum of points gained from the mock BrandStock exchange [70%] in which more than 900 stocks of the nation’s major brands from 200 companies are traded and consumer survey index [30%].”
