SEOUL, April 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Sales of Mini vehicles reached a new high last year, signaling the brand’s growing popularity among South Korean drivers.
To celebrate a record-breaking 9,562 vehicles sold in South Korea alone last year, the 2018 Mini Brand Day was held on Tuesday in Seoul, an event for Mini fans.
During the event, officials announced plans to release an all-electric Mini in the South Korean market by 2020.
A number of Mini models are set to be released this year, including the new Mini Clubman John Cooper Works, and the new Mini JCW Countryman, as well as the new Mini JCW Convertible.
In a move to expand its brand image, Mini will launch projects in the fields of fashion and household items.
Last October, the company released a new lifestyle digital platform dubbed Dominick that touches on cars, fashion, and lifestyle.
