SEOUL, Oct. 5 (Korea Bizwire) – There is a saying that ginseng could be a medicine of a poison depending on one’s physical constitution, but red ginseng is good for everyone. Seems like the saying also applies to pets.
The Korea Ginseng Corporation announced that it will be releasing a new line of pet food containing red ginseng, called GINIPET.
GINIPET is a product developed using red ginseng scraps to enhance the health of pet dogs.
Three variations of the product are planned for the launch, the basic product with red ginseng, an organic version with red ginseng and aronia berries, and another organic version with red ginseng and yucca plants.
The name GINIPET is made by putting together three words, ‘Ginseng’, ‘I’ meaning the owner of the pet, and ‘Pet’.
The product is expected to hit store shelves later this year.
