ULSAN, Nov. 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Rooks, considered a tourist attraction in southeastern port city of Ulsan, typically arrive in the city around mid-October.
According to a study by Kim Seong-soo, an expert on bird ecology, the birds return to Ulsan between October 13 and 17 every year.
However, Kim noted that “there are complaints that Ulsan rooks cause inconvenience in daily life due to excrement and noise.”
“Nevertheless, they could help to boost the local economy if promoted from an eco-tourism point of view,” Kim added.
