SEOUL, Dec. 18 (Korea Bizwire) –  Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday the enhancement of its proprietary AI model, Galaxy AI, and the development of a robust data protection platform.

These advancements will debut in the upcoming Galaxy S series, slated for release in January 2025, and are being tested through the One UI 7 beta program.

A standout feature of the upgraded Galaxy AI is Now Bar, a notification system that displays real-time activities—such as schedules, music playback, translation, and health metrics—directly on the lock screen.

The AI-driven personalization capabilities are designed to improve productivity by offering tailored recommendations. For instance, on travel days, users may receive flight details, traffic updates to the airport, local weather, and currency exchange rates.

To bolster privacy, Samsung introduced the Personal Data Engine, an on-device data protection platform. It leverages Samsung Knox Vault to encrypt sensitive user data, ensuring it remains secure within the device.

The platform also safeguards data transfers between apps through advanced encryption protocols.

Additionally, Samsung Cloud now features PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography), an end-to-end encryption algorithm resistant to quantum computing threats, further strengthening data security.

These innovations highlight Samsung’s commitment to merging advanced AI personalization with cutting-edge data protection, setting a new standard for privacy and functionality in mobile technology.
