SEOUL, May 8 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics has introduced Korea’s largest Micro LED display, a 114-inch colossus that doubles down on its pursuit of the ultra-premium TV segment by expanding its Micro LED lineup to meet consumer demand for supersized screens.
The 114-inch model joins Samsung’s existing 89-inch and 101-inch Micro LED offerings, providing consumers with an enhanced array of size options to suit their preferences as the market trends toward larger displays.
Micro LED technology delivers unparalleled picture quality by employing micrometer-sized LED lights that emit their own brilliance and color without requiring a backlight or color filter. This innovative approach ensures an immersive viewing experience in any environment.
The 114-inch Micro LED carries a retail price of 180 million won and is now on display at the Samsung boutique in the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo.
To sweeten the deal for prospective buyers, Samsung is offering a complementary 85-inch Neo QLED 8K (QND900) TV and discounts on JBL L100 MK2 speakers with the purchase of the 114-inch Micro LED. Additionally, customers who make their purchase this month will receive a complimentary accommodation voucher for the Signiel Seoul hotel valued at 3 million won.
“Micro LED combines all the advantages of every TV currently on the market, making it the ultimate display,” stated Kang Jin-seon, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics Korea. “By expanding the choices for consumers who recognize the value of our cutting-edge, ultra-high-definition displays, we aim to lead the ultra-premium TV market.”
