SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung’s new range of SUHD TVs all earned awards at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Samsung’s SUHD TVs are next generation monitors that use advanced 4K display technology. Samsung’s UN105S9B 105″ bendable SUHD TV, the largest in the world, earned a CES award for Best Innovation, giving the company a Best Innovation award for 4 consecutive years.
The 21:9 Cinema Wide TV expresses colors with nano-crystal semiconductors that transmit different colors of light, achieving impressive definition. The 105″ bendable display and other models of SUHD TVs also feature a re-mastering engine that can improve the quality of lower resolution content.
Samsung was also recognized with Innovation awards for its three lines of SUHD TVs featuring a total of nine display sizes. The new SUHD TVs are all powered by Samsung’s open-source platform Tizen, which was also honored with an Innovation award at CES.
