SEOUL, April 13 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics will release its innovative omni-directional Radiant 360 wireless speakers in Korea on April 21, with the global launch coming later.
First introduced at 2015 CES last January, the new Samsung Radiant 360 wireless speaker earned high praise for its interesting features and dynamic sound.
Samsung will accept pre-orders at its Samsung Stores from April 14, and will offer two models, the R7 and portable R6, which can play up to six hours on a full-charge.
With Samsung Radiant 360 speakers, one can enjoy music anywhere in a room as the sound travels in “rings.” Using Samsung’s Ring Radiator technology, it delivers balanced audio across the bass and treble within a 360-degree radius by eliminating the need to arrange speakers to provide the best audio environment.
The egg-shaped speakers developed by the Samsung Audio Lab have built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for streaming music from smartphones, tablets and directly from the Internet. They can also be remotely controlled through the Samsung Multiroom app.
The R7 will sell for 590,000 won (US$538), and the R6 for 490,000 won (US$447).
