SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Korea Bizwire) The Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Han River Management Headquarters said Wednesday it will install benches and tables on concrete stairways and in idle spaces at Han River parks to create rest zones for visitors.

The agency plans to set up 32 rest zones by October.

Wooden frames or chairs will be placed on concrete stairs to build “stairway rest zones.”

Each of the parks along the Han River will feature different kinds of tables, desks and low wooden benches for the rest zones under the Cheongdam Bridge, Wonhyo Bridge, Seogang Bridge, the Jamwon Interchange and the Shinsa Interchange.

“Observatory rest zones” will be set up in idle spaces in Han River parks where there are great views of the river but no place to rest.
