SEOUL, Oct. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Wednesday that it will co-host the Seoul 100K: Seoul International Ultra Trail Running Race with the Korea Alpine Federation.
Trail running refers to a type of leisure sport in which participants traverse unpaved trails, mountains, hills and plains.
The race, to be held for the second time after 2019, is expected to welcome some 400 athletes, who will run across Seoul for three days on Oct. 16-17 and 23.
The participants will compete in one of the two 50-kilometer courses that connect Mount Bukhan, Mount Inwang, the Han River and the heart of the city on the date they have selected.
They will begin the race at their own pace between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the starting point to reach the finish line by 7 p.m.
