SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education on Monday said it has signed an agreement with eight companies and agencies including Naver Corp. and Google Korea to develop an artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning platform.
The Seoul education office plans to develop and transition newSSEM, a remote classroom platform, into an AI-based platform that is capable of collecting, analyzing, and utilizing educational data.
NewSSEM utilizes attendance data, homework submissions, learning activities and a digital-based teaching aid program tailored to various student needs to collect educational data from students and come up with customized solutions.
Each agency plans to connect a variety of content, learning tools, and platform solutions to the Seoul education office for AI-based classrooms.
