SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Korea Bizwire) – The Seoul Media Art Week (SMAW) 2023 invites you to experience a special Christmas-themed media show at the World Trade Center Seoul in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu.
The event will run from December 19 through Christmas and is organized by the Korean Free Advertising Zone committee, with hosting support from WTC SEOUL, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, Parnass Hotel, CJ CGV, JoongAng Ilbo-Megabox, and Invent Partners.
Throughout the festival, a total of 71 media installations will captivate audiences both indoors and outdoors at the trade center. The program includes a seasonal show adorned with a Christmas theme and a main show featuring captivating media art content.
The enchanting ‘CHRISTMAS LIGHT FANTASIA’ seasonal show revolves around the central theme of ‘bells,’ transforming the space into a magical carol bell square. Accompanied by synchronized music and lights, this spectacle promises to immerse visitors in a vibrant holiday ambiance.
Curated by the Seoul Arts Council, Ray Village, JoongAng Ilbo-Megabox, GroundX, CJ CGV, and Seoul Light Trade Center, the main show will showcase works by leading Korean artists from the contemporary art scene.
