SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – The Seoul Metropolitan Government is taking applications for a bargain wedding service at City Hall for just 66,000 won ($61).
Applications for the ‘mini wedding’ service are open until the March 9 for couples who wish to marry at either Seoul Citizens Hall or City Hall.
Taepyeong Hall, a venue within Seoul Citizens Hall, is located on the second basement level, and will be open for private wedding ceremonies every Saturday and Sunday during the second week of each month for four hours between June and December.
Seoul Citizens Hall was hailed as the best spot for affordable wedding ceremonies by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2016, having married 167 couples since its opening in 2013.
In respect for the mini wedding concept, the number of guests is limited to 100, while couples can plan the whole process of the wedding on their own, or work with wedding ceremony planners in tandem with Seoul Citizens Hall.
