SEOUL, June 20 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Monday it will operate outdoor swimming pools along the Han River during the summer season, starting this Friday and continuing until Aug. 20.
Three outdoor swimming pools in the Ttukseom, Gwangnaru and Yeouido areas, and two swimming areas in the Nanji and Yanghwa districts which are accessible to people in ordinary clothing, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day during the specified period.
The admission fees for the swimming pools are 3,000 won (US$2.34) for children, 4,000 won for teenagers, and 5,000 won for adults.
The fees for the swimming areas are 1,000 won for children, 2,000 won for teenagers, and 3,000 won for adults.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of people of all ages, the outdoor swimming facilities, located in the city’s downtown area, will be divided into pools for adults and pools for children.
In addition, the facilities will offer amusement rides, restaurants, and a sunbathing area.
