TAEAN, Jun. 18 (Korea Bizwire) — The Taean International Sand Sculpture Festival, where visitors can enjoy the beauty and charm of sand sculptures, will be held on July 13 and 14 at Sinduri Beach in Taean County, South Chungcheong Province.
Sinduri Beach is home to South Korea’s largest coastal sand dune, designated as Natural Monument No. 431.
Celebrating its 17th anniversary this year, the festival will feature events such as a sand sculpture contest, sand sledding, catching fish with bare hands, water gun games and the chance to build sand castles.
About 400 people from 60 teams from South Korea and abroad will compete in the sand sculpture competition this year.
