SEOUL, March 16 (Korea Bizwire) — SK Telecom Co. South Korea’s top mobile phone operator, announced on Sunday that it will hold a shareholder’s meeting online on March 26 due to the coronavirus spreading worldwide.
The decision comes as the company seeks to bolster its shareholder-friendly management by helping shareholders to participate in the meeting and ensuring an open dialogue with them.
Shareholders who cannot make it to the meeting, to be held at the company’s headquarters in Seoul, will still be able to watch it live online.
The CEO and the management staff will answer shareholder’s questions submitted online.
