SEOUL, March 24 (Korea Bizwire) — Sony Korea is launching a 4K professional action cam called the FDR-X1000V and a high-end full HD action cam, dubbed the HDR-AS200V, said the company on March 23.
Equipped with 12.8 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensors and 170° ultra-wide ZEISS Tessar lenses, the two action cams are suitable for shooting in low light and capturing wide scenes. Their BIONZ X image processors enable fast capture rates while maintaining a high level of detail and texture. More realistic and natural renditions of outdoor activities can easily be achieved with the X1000V and AS200V.
Blurred pictures will no longer be an issue, as both cameras feature Sony’s third generation New SteadyShot Active image stabilization mode. The two cameras are also waterproof, and can shoot at depths of up to 10 meters underwater when equipped with the SPK-X1 waterproof case.
