WANDO, Oct. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — An exotic boat wedding, decorated by the sea and the beautiful night sky, is something many brides and grooms dream of.
Last Saturday, a special boat wedding took place in Wando Port in Wando County, South Jeolla Province, onboard the Slow City Cheongsando ferry.
The couple, both 27-year-old, had to postpone their wedding three times due to the coronavirus.
As part of its quarantine efforts, the county limited the number of passengers on the boat to 100 people in accordance with the level 2 social distancing policy. All passengers were required to check in, receive temperature checks and wear a mask at all times.
The boat wedding turned out to be one of the most special events in recent memory.
The wedding was broadcast on a giant LED screen while soft lights shone on the beautiful bride as she walked to the altar. The wedding was broadcast live on YouTube for the 50 guests who weren’t able to join due to social distancing measures.
Music from pop performances and a jazz concert filled the night air in Wando, a memorable scene that no one will ever forget.
