SEOUL, March 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Working South Koreans self-assess their lifetime accumulated fortune to amount to about 800 million won, 3.2 billion won short of the 4 billion won baseline to be considered rich.

While those in their 20s and 30s thought 4.01 billion won was the cutoff, 40-somethings drew the line for being rich at 4.32 billion won.

A large majority (82.3 percent) said they had set a goal for how much to save this year, and the average target amount was 9.67 million won.
