“You really want me to die?”

“There is a saying you shouldn’t hate the person even though you could hate the wrongful act committed by the person.”
“That means you shouldn’t blame people who make mistakes. But what about those who hate and harass someone who did nothing wrong? Maybe that’s out of ignorance or psychological response to their own misery. These people should be punished but I should say they are really pitiful people.”
Park Jin-young, founder of JYP Entertainment
SEOUL, Nov. 11 (Korea Bizwire) – Bae Suzy, Korea’s popular singer and actress, left a reply to a fan who made awful remarks to her Twitter page repeatedly.
The perpetrator began harassment in March this year. Recently in October the person wrote, “I want you to get killed in a car accident,” followed on November 8 by another “You should quit your job and go kill yourself.”
To this, Suzy responded on the 9th, “You really want me to die?” Even though the thread was deleted by now, JYP Entertainment, Suzy’s talent management company, said it will do everything to seek punishment for the criminal act.
A JYP official said, “We will respond harshly to any act that may potentially harm our artists including defamation, spread of false news, threat and racketeering. We will soon set out to find out what to do with legal experts within the firm. Even though it will take some time, we won’t just let it go.”
Suzy is currently at the peak of her career, now filming for the upcoming history movie “Dorihwaga.”
