GANGNEUNG, July 21 (Korea Bizwire) — A family of swallows has gained attention for building a nest in a location where a CCTV camera monitors them 24 hours a day.
This year, swallows constructed nests on top of two CCTV cameras installed on each side of the entrance to Seongsan-myeon Community Service Center in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, taking care of four chicks.
One of the swallow families recently moved out after the chicks grew enough. The other family is also expecting to see its chicks grow out of the nest soon.
The mother swallow has been observed bringing food to her chicks in preparation for their move out of the nest.
The Community Service Center staff is assisting the swallow family in preparing for the big move-out by keeping bugs away from the nest.
The mother swallow had built a nest on the same CCTV camera last year, successfully raising her chicks.
