TAEAN, Nov. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — A local government is taking the spotlight after introducing a robot to feed Korean native cattle.
Taean-gun Agricultural Development & Technology Center in Taean County, South Chungcheong Province is currently undertaking a TMR (total mixed ration) feeding project using unmanned robots on two farms.
The robots are self-driven as they follow magnetic lines set on the floor, and automatically supply the proper amount of feed at each exact location.
Robots are seen as a great way to replace humans to distribute TMR feed to the cows, which is usually too heavy for a normal person to carry.
