Taeyang Comes back as Intense Hip-hop Warrior

SEOUL, Korea, Nov 13 (Korea Bizwire) – Big Bang member Taeyang comes back with a new album after an album by another Big Bang member G-Dragon. On November 9 he released a music video of the title song of the album “Ringa Linga.” As it was the first album by Taeyang after three years of hiatus and G-Dragon would make cameo appearance, the video had been highly anticipated by his fans. In the just-launched video, Taeyang boasted his talent in multiple areas in vocal and rap as well as dance.

The music video begins with a scene in which the singer stands on a steel-frame structure in front of a setting sun well epitomizes his charisma. In addition to the still-groovy vocal and powerful dance moves, you can see his rare rap performance. The background scenes depicting the run-down warehouse, club-like stage, and the burning street evocative of an American inner city also enhance the visual effect.

The song released on the same day as the video has been ranked No. 1 on major online charts. On the iTunes chart, it was on top rank in seven countries. In particular, the music video was choreographed by Parris Goebel, the group leader of ReQuest Dance Crew, the hip-hop dance troupe who won the World Hip Hop Dance Championships, and who was hired as a choreographer for Jennifer Lopez’s Dance Again World Tour.

Thanks to the dynamic dance performance of the 12 American dancers and Taeyang, the video has clocked in more than 3 million hits on YouTube in two days. Let’s meet Taeyang again who has come back with cool music performance without disappointing his fans.
