SEOUL, Jun. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Starting at the end of this month, beef will be available through IoT-based vending machines for purchase by consumers.
The measure is aimed at relaxing measures previously binding the livestock industry while helping consumers gain easier access to beef.
When beef goes on sale at vending machines, consumers will have 24 hours access to meat, and will no longer be limited to making purchases at supermarkets.
According to an announcement made today by the Ministry of Food and Safety, the revised law pertaining to this matter is under revision at the Ministry of Government Legislation, and will come into effect at the end of the month.
