SEOUL, April 26 (Korea Bizwire)A majority of job seekers and employed workers consider the possibility of working from home when looking for a new job or changing companies.

In a recent survey conducted by online job portal Incruit, 697 employed workers and 367 job seekers with work-from-home experience were asked about their views.

The survey found that 58 percent of respondents believed a company’s work-from-home policy is an important factor when considering a job offer or switching to a new employer.

More than two-thirds (70.3 percent) of those currently working from home said they would consider leaving their current job if their employer eliminated its work-from-home policy.

When asked why they preferred working from home, 48 percent of respondents cited a shorter commute time as the primary reason, followed by the ability to work in a comfortable space in comfortable clothes (18.8 percent).

Of those with work-from-home experience, 40 percent said they are still working from home, while 60 percent work in an office.
