BUSAN, Korea, Jan. 9 (Korea Bizwire) – Oscar, owned by MSC, the world’s second largest shipping company, arrived at the new port of Busan on January 8. Oscar is the largest container vessel in the world, with a capacity of 19,224 20-feet long containers. Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering built the ship at its Okpo shipyard. The ship displaces 192,237 tons and its deck is nearly as big as four football fields, with a length of 395.4 meters and a width of 59 meters.
