SEOUL, Sept. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – EDM extravaganza “World Club Dome Korea”, which will run from September 22 through 24, is expected to draw 150,000 visitors, 10,000 of which are expected to be from abroad.
The event will be held at Munhak Baseball Stadium in Incheon. The lineup of performing artists includes Martin Gamix, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Armin van Buuren and Steve Aoki.
Often referred to as “the world’s biggest club”, this is the first time the World Club Dome has been held in Asia since its inception in Germany in 2013.
According to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), which has held expos and info sessions in eight different countries including Russia, China and Japan promoting the event, 10,000 tickets have been sold in foreign markets.
The KTO has now set its sights on clearing 20,000 tickets sold, encouraged by the sales figures and local reaction to its promotion efforts. More than 20,000 showed up at the KTO’s info session held in Vietnam on September 4.
